Even in a period of economic uncertainty, with Brexit, the trade war between China and the United States and an automobile industry that’s in a slump, RoboJob is continuing to invest. The company continues to look for new colleagues and has several unfilled vacancies. Moreover, RoboJob built a new branch in Germany last year. The new Technology Centre will officially open its doors in January.
"We’ve been active in Germany since 2013," says Jelle De Roovere, manager of RoboJob Deutschland GmbH. "Over the years we have built fantastic relationships and a fantastic customer base here", with names such as Schunk, Weber Hydraulik, Gerhard Schubert, Kocks, MK Technologies, Manfred Zaiser, etc. the German manufacturing industry is currently at the start of a transformation. “This is by far our largest market, with more than 300 installations spread throughout the country. We want to offer our customers the best possible service and to that end a logical next step is a German sales and service centre. With the opening of our Technology Centre, the intention is now to provide full support to our customers in Germany from here. Several new German colleagues will therefore also be joining."
The Technology Centre has been active for a month, and offers 220 m² of office space as well as meeting rooms, a Spare Parts Centre and a 650 m² showroom. "All the necessary elements to receive our customers and partners here," says De Roovere. “We have a superb showroom where we’re not only able to organize demos, but also events and workshops for and with our customers and partners in Germany.” The first event is already planned for January, when RoboJob will officially be inaugurating the building.
The new Technology Centre is located in Lehrensteinsfeld, a stone's throw from Heilbronn and close to Stuttgart. “This is one of the most important regions in the German manufacturing industry. Heilbronn is not only the fastest growing region in Germany; it also offers perfect link roads in all directions. Not surprisingly we are extremely proud of this important step in our further international expansion,” concludes De Roovere.
