2014 has already proven very successful for RoboJob, with sales and installations at an all-time high, and with partnership agreements that have been signed in Europe as well as in Australia and New Zealand.

The Belgian specialist in the automatic loading and unloading of CNC-machines has now signed a new partnership agreement with Oltrogge & Co. KG. Oltrogge is based in Germany, and is yet another Mazak dealer who will be adding the smart and simple automation products of RoboJob to its portfolio.

The company history of Oltrogge & Co. KG is quite exceptional. The business was founded in 1866 as a hardware store in the city center of Bielefeld, Nordrhein-Westfalen. Almost 150 years later, it is now the 5th generation of the family who runs the company, which has grown into a provider of technical products, system solutions and services. Anno 2014, Oltrogge employs 180 people at 5 locations, including a recently established subsidiary in Turkey. Oltrogge is now the strategic partner for over 15.000 customers. It is also the exclusive dealer for the Mazak CNC lathes and milling machines for large parts of Nordrhein-Westfalen and Niedersachsen.

“Innovation and know-how have always been our strengths. This was already the case when the company was founded almost 150 years ago, and has not changed since”, explains Mr. Hartmut Gaese, Division Manager Machinery at Oltrogge & Co. KG. “We are one of the 3 exclusive Mazak dealers in Germany, and for us that means that we are the only company selling Mazak CNC machines in the largest part of Nordrhein-Westfalen. We’re extremely happy to be adding RoboJob’s CNC automation products to our product portfolio. Our Sales and Service Teams cannot wait to be offering these user-friendly and smart automation solutions to our customers! We are convinced that our customers will understand the incredible benefits of automation for small and medium-sized series. There is no automation that will have such a big positive impact on their flexibility and profitability.”

Oltrogge will also become the exclusive dealer for RoboJob’s Turn- and Mill-Assist Series in Nordrhein-Westfalen and Niedersachsen for new Mazak machines. That region is a very important center for the metalworking industry of Germany. For RoboJob, this opens up yet another strategic region in Western Europe, where customers can now also benefit from the user-friendly and flexible automation solutions of the Belgian market leader in CNC-automation.

Based in Belgium, RoboJob was founded in 2007 by engineers Helmut De Roovere and Luc De Ceuster. With over 25 years’ in manufacturing and over 40 years’ experience in machine building, RoboJob can rely on all the needed know-how to build extremely user-friendly standard solutions that can significantly increase gross margins in the machining industry.

The Turn-Assist and Mill-Assist are integrated solutions which enable the automatic loading and unloading of turning and milling machines. Both systems can be used for a wide range of dimensions (standard ø 5 to 400 mm) and weights (up until 700 kg).

Co-founder and CEO Helmut De Roovere is thrilled about the newly signed agreement: “Oltrogge is the 2nd independent Mazak dealer that will be selling our standard automation products in Germany. It proves how much Mazak believes in the quality, the user-friendliness and the simplicity of our products. We are already planning practical training for the first installations with customers in their region”, De Roovere continues, “and are looking forward to a fruitful cooperation. Also in Nordrhein-Westfalen metalworking companies are urgently looking for flexible automation since they suffer the same market challenges as we do in the Benelux. We are more than happy that now these customers can also benefit from automation for small and medium-sized series”, De Roovere explains.

The future looks bright for RoboJob, its partners ánd its customers. “We’re already off to a good start with Oltrogge, and will work closely with their Sales and Service Teams to ensure they have all the needed know-how and experience to sell, service and support our automation solutions to their customers in Nordrhein-Westfalen. In the meantime, we will focus on our Belgian and Dutch customers, on our continuous innovation path and on the support of our other partners across the world”, De Roovere concludes.
