That the last few weeks have been busy for RoboJob is an understatement. Besides being occupied with the many installations at home and abroad, there are also a lot of exhibitions and events on the schedule. Next week RoboJob goes to the Metavak in Gorinchem, and in mid-November, there are no less than 4 events scheduled for one and the same week. It demonstrates once again that RoboJob has developed into a mature business and that its planning is well under control.

With Open Houses in Germond (Belgium), Dormac (the Netherlands), Volz Maschinenhandel (Germany) and a participation at the Prodex trade fair (Switzerland) there are no less than 4 events scheduled in the same week, in 4 different countries. So it’s all hands on deck at RoboJob. André Bauwens, Operations Manager at RoboJob, gives us a glimpse behind the scenes: "Busy is an understatement," says Bauwens, “because apart from the 11 events and trade fair participations which are planned for this autumn, we also have to carry out a lot of installations at customers. Fortunately, we have a superb team, which now has a lot of experience, and we have our installation procedures completely under control. Specifically there are 3 different installation teams dealing with this, who are assisted by 4 Field Automation Experts. These 4 experts ensure that everything runs faultlessly after our Turn- or Mill-Assist has been installed. And of course we also provide training for our customers. In the meantime, now that all these people have been operating for quite a while, they are gradually becoming a well-oiled machine, which our customers clearly can benefit from.”

What is striking about the busy autumn calendar is that RoboJob may again be participating in the Open Houses in Germond and Dormac. These are the distributors of the Doosan machines in Belgium and the Netherlands respectively. RoboJob considers itself extremely satisfied that again this year was an invitation in the mail: "It not only underlines our good relationship with Germond and Dormac," says Dries Eerdekens, Area Sales Manager at RoboJob. "It also confirms that these partners have great confidence in RoboJob’s automation solutions and its know-how. Meanwhile, we have of course completed many installations on Doosan machines, and we have also concluded agreements with the distributors of Doosan in Germany. For example, at the end of this month we’re organising yet another workshop at a German Doosan dealer, GLM Werkzeugmaschinen.”

Both Open Houses are taking place from November 17th to 19th, at Germond in Izegem (Belgium) and at Dormac in De Goorn (Netherlands). At Germond, RoboJob is demonstrating the Turn-Assist 250 with revolving unit on a Doosan Puma GT 3100 LMB. At Dormac, the Turn-Assist 180 is being set up on a Doosan LYNX 220 LSYC. Germond opens its doors from 10AM to 6PM on Thursday and Friday, and until 10PM on Saturday. Dormac open their doors from 1PM to 9PM on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 November. On Saturday 19 November, doors will be opened from 10AM to 4PM.
