RoboJob has won the prestigious FANUC Application Award. RoboJob was given this Award owing to its pioneering work in the development of low-threshold, standard solutions for CNC machine automation. It’s not the first Award that RoboJob has won and probably won’t be the last.

At the end of 2017, Fanuc – the global market leader in robotics - organized its Award Ceremony in Japan for the second time. Fanuc presents the Awards every two years, simultaneously with the iREX world trade fair, the International Robot Exhibition that also takes place in Japan. With these Awards, FANUC aims to highlight progressive companies that have globally taken exceptional volumes at Fanuc, and when doing this, also excel in innovation. This year it was Belgium’s RoboJob that walked away with the Application Award.

"This is a huge recognition for all the hard work that our entire team has put in during recent years," says a proud CEO Helmut De Roovere. "As the market leader in CNC machine automation, we are more than fully committed to innovation and product development. Our colleagues in the R&D team take the lead here, and this Award is almost entirely down to them.”

RoboJob celebrated its tenth anniversary last year, and can look back on a substantial growth path. The company now has 35 employees and has installed almost 500 systems at home and abroad. "It is especially satisfying to receive recognition from a global player such as FANUC, which counts thousands of customers across the entire world. The fact that a Belgian SME from Heist-op-den-Berg is able to receive such a prestigious Award on this international stage only motivates us in taking a step further and to continue investing in innovation."

Last year RoboJob also won the third place at the ‘Trends Gazellen’ in the province of Antwerp, and has again been nominated for the ‘Trends Gazellen’ this year. Furthermore, in a few weeks RoboJob will be on stage again during the Night of the SME, wherein it has been nominated as 'Most promising exporting company of 2017'. The many nominations and awards clearly show that as a Belgian company, we have a lot of assets to demonstrate ourselves at international level,” says De Roovere, ”and that there is a lot of talent on the Belgian labour market. I can therefore only hope that these young talents find their way to Heist-op-den-Berg, since we are constantly on the lookout for motivated technical colleagues”.
