Turn-Assist Essential Integrated

What's the difference between an ‘integrated’ model and a ‘separated’ model?
With the Turn-Assist and Mill-Assist Series we offer you different standard automations, each with specific characteristics. Within each model you have a wide choice of robot payloads, options and modular extensions. You also have the option of choosing an 'integrated' model or a 'separated' model.
With the 'integrated' models the entire automation is built on to one fixed frame. The workpiece feed and removal, the robot, the Robot controller, the operating console and the safety elements are assembled on to one sturdy frame.
This offers the benefit of being able to move these automation units very easily from one CNC machine to another. Using a pallet jack or forklift truck, the automation can be moved quickly and easily from one machine to the next so that you can set to work right away. The alignment is done automatically by conical receptors and the software automatically detects which machine the system is on.
Our ‘integrated’ models:
In the 'separated' models all key elements are constructed separately from each other: the feed and removal, the robot with the robot support, the operating console and various possible safety systems. For example the feed and removal, the robot with the operating console and the safety system may be physically separated from each other.
This enables you to automate large machining centres, without for example, your automation blocking access to your machine’s tool magazine. This also allows you to set up your Mill-Assist Essential next to your milling machine, rather than in front of it.
Our ‘separated’ models:
With our ‘integrated’ and ‘separated’ models we ensure that your machine opening remains free. You choose which concept and which automation best meets your needs and your working environment. Your commercial contact will be glad to explain all the further details, so that you can take the right decision.
